Your role: Senior iOS Developer

Scope of Responsibilities

Specify, develop and test iOS applications for alternative and augmentative communication
Specify, develop and test SDKs and frameworks to support 3rd party application development on the CognixionONE platform
Participate in an agile development process to scope and plan new products, features and enhancements
Interface with customer facing teams to promptly respond to issues
Lead and mentor junior team members including code and documentation review
Navigate the approval process for certification in the Apple app store

Skills & Experience

3-5 years of experience with Swift on iOS using Xcode
Experience interfacing with web platforms and APIs
Have led teams to ship and support products available on the app store
Experience with Bluetooth an asset
Experience with AWS an asset
Experience with accessibility an asset

Important Details

Position must be based in Toronto or Santa Barbara
Position can be partly remote, but work hours are Eastern time
The expectation is that frequent regular (ideally weekly) in-person attendance is the norm
Remote applicants MUST be eligible to work in Canada or USA for several weeks at a time
Periodic travel to Toronto Ontario and/or Santa Barbara California will be required
